Terms and Conditions
The terms for using Frame and buying access to its paid experiences.
These terms explain how Frame works as a UK-based digital product: account access, paid reads, bundles, reports, archive features, refunds, and acceptable use.
Who these terms are with
These terms govern use of Frame and the purchase of its paid digital experiences. The contract is with Shift The Story, trading as Shift The Story.
What Frame is
Frame is a premium platform for private interactive reads. Its live catalogue includes individual reads, configured collection bundles, saved reports, and archive layers.
Each experience is digital content delivered through an account-based product flow. Access may include guided questions, generated results, companion layers, optional media, PDFs, and saved archive access.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account details and keep your login credentials secure.
You must not misuse the service, attempt to interfere with its operation, access another person's account or report, or reuse the experiences in a way that infringes intellectual property or breaks the law.
Access may be suspended or limited where misuse, fraud, payment reversal, or operational risk needs to be addressed.
Pricing, payment, and access
Prices are shown on public product, pricing, and checkout pages for individual reads and configured bundles.
Access is granted after payment is verified. A bundle purchase grants access to the included experiences listed at the point of sale.
Gifted or complimentary access may also be offered. Gifted access is tied to the intended recipient once claimed. Complimentary access is granted at the operator's discretion and may be changed or withdrawn where necessary.
Where digital-content supply begins immediately after payment, consumer cancellation rights may be affected. See the Refund Policy for a clearer explanation.
Nature of the experiences
Frame experiences are reflective digital products. They are not therapy, crisis support, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for professional care.
If a user needs urgent mental-health support, safeguarding help, or medical care, they should seek appropriate professional assistance rather than rely on the platform.
Intellectual property
The experiences, reports, copy, design, media, and associated materials remain the intellectual property of the business unless clearly stated otherwise. A purchase gives the user a private licence to access and use the experience for personal use only.
Availability, refunds, and liability
The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or unexpected technical reasons. Reasonable efforts should be made to restore access promptly.
If a refund is granted, access linked to that refunded purchase may be removed. Historical account records may still be retained where operationally or legally necessary.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including consumer rights that apply to faulty or misdescribed digital content.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, with disputes subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer law requires otherwise.
